Solution

Engineering Consultancy

Let us simulate your line: bottleneck analysis, line balancing, layout planning and investment decisions, backed by measured scenarios instead of guesses.

“Would one more machine pay for itself?” “How many operators does this line need?” “What would a new layout gain us?” The answers are hidden in your plant; but the cost of experimenting, once the line is built, is very high.

We answer these questions with simulation. You do not need to buy or learn any software: we model your line on our own platform, we run the scenarios, and you receive measured results with a clear recommendation.

How It Works

  1. We map the data together. Layout plan, cycle times, product mix, shift pattern. We start with whatever you have; gaps are measured together on the floor.
  2. We model your line and run the scenarios. ONO SIM, which we built ourselves, runs your line through a full shift; for detailed engineering studies we use Visual Components. Breakdowns, scrap, operator walking and buffers are part of the model.
  3. We deliver the result as numbers. Which machine is the bottleneck, what each scenario produces, the cost per part, and how many months the investment takes to return. With a comparison table and our recommendation.

We wrote up an example study on the blog: four builds of the same line, from 53 to 161 parts an hour.

What We Look At

  • Production optimisation and lean manufacturing studies
  • Line balancing and bottleneck analysis: operator and machine utilisation, blocked and starved time
  • Layout planning: comparing manual, cobot-assisted and AGV alternatives for the same line
  • Capacity investment decisions: machine, operator and automation scenarios presented with their payback periods
  • Robotic concept design and offline robot programming: arc welding, cutting, surface finishing

Beyond Simulation

Consultancy usually starts with simulation, but it does not end there. We also run projects on the digital transformation side:

  • Manufacturing execution system (MES) setup and integration
  • Predictive maintenance: the warning arrives before the breakdown
  • Energy efficiency and carbon emission monitoring
  • Machine vision applications
  • Equipment and facility management

Who It’s For

For teams building a new line, improving an existing one, or defending an investment decision with numbers. The size of your line does not matter; if the question is clear, a simulation can be built.

Where to Start

Tell us the question on your mind: which line, which decision, which constraint. In the first conversation we work out together whether simulation can answer it. You can write to us from the contact page.
